The steering is light and accurate, so it is easy to manoeuvre and position on the road, but you certainly don’t get as much fine detail as you would in a sportier model. It is the natural give and take Lexus says is to be expected when you prioritise simplicity and a stress-free drive rather than dynamic engagement. The car is always planted and stable, even around a set of bends; you’d never suspect the weather wasn’t radiant and calm, and it made you think it could take the temperature of any climate with no problem.
Rough terrainOne of the more surprising aspects of the UX 300e’s driving dynamics is its refinement on motorways. A very comfortable, refined, and relaxing driving experience (not such that would make it fret on lap times).

But if you’re the right buyer, they’re all very livable compromises. The UX 300e is not checking the boxes of being the most powerful, best equipped, or fastest-charging EV. It’s also the most comfortable and quiet, most reliable, and it just frankly takes all the stress out of owning a car, which is the ultimate Lexus gift.
